Dear Reader
Easter time has come and gone, and we’re past April Fool’s too. I hope life treated you well these past few weeks. If you live in the northern hemisphere, there is renewal and joy in the air with the turn of the season. For those of us in the southern hemisphere, it is time to slow down, reflect, and start preparing for winter.
For me the past few weeks have been a rather busy time. I often do freelance academic translation work, and had recently gained a few large projects. These projects will continue through the next two to three weeks at least.
As part of my own reflection, I realised that my life consists of two working blocks. I’m either fully occupied with my creative endeavours, or completely busy translating. Very rarely am I able to get both done at the same time.
The consequence is that there are times when I publish Second Chance Core (SSC) chapters very consistently, and times when I don’t. To me, this doesn’t seem ideal, which has led me to the following decision.
Going forward, SSC chapters will be published once every two weeks, starting at the beginning of May. I believe that this change will lead to more consistency and a better sense of continuity for Claire’s story.
I look forward to getting the next chapter up at the end of the month!
Blessings to you,
